Articles published in open access journals are cited more frequently than those in non-open access journals. Furthermore, as all articles are published under the Creative Commons license, you retain ownership and copyright of the article. The default license for articles published in Tobacco Prevention and Cessation is the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors who wish to publish their work under a more strict license are also able to choose the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-ND 4.0).
